Can anyone find William Sprawson, aged about 1, with his family in Bath in 1841? Father may be John, possibly a coach driver?

Can anyone find David Sproson for me in the 1871 census for Derby? In 1881 he is living in Derby St Peter, working as a tailor.
In 1881 he is 53 but I'm not sure this is correct as I can't trace his birth anywhere. Place of birth is given as Brownhills, Staffs.
Sproson/Sproston is a fairly unusual name in Derbyshire so any that crop up there in 1871 may provide a lead.

I am looking for John Sproson born 1853 in Widnes on the 1861 census.
I have a possible match on the 1861 at FmyP which I cannot explore further.
He has been transcribed as a STRAWSON and is 8 years old living in Prescot, hopefully with Mum and Dad and possibly siblings.
I suspect parents may be Samuel and Mary Ann but am not sure.

Well, he may not have actually been there that night but at least this proves he is the head of the household!
This clears up one little mystery - I am having similar problems with a couple of other families and I suspect they may be John's brothers and in a similar line of work.

They are a very aggrevating family. I have no actual 1891 access but have just spotted several Sprosons in Prescot in 1891 on the FmyP site:

Do you have any access to this? I have 1911 credits but they don't work for earlier censuses!!
