Does anyone know what has happened to the Mycanvas option on the new Ancestry? Is there any way I can still access it? And if all my records (1000's) are on Ancestry what options do I have of using a similar product?

Hi all,
Hoping someone can look up a death record for me for John Mills in Richmond in 1859 1407/1859 V18591407 157. I am hoping for any reference to his parents or siblings to confirm who he is. Some public trees on Ancestry have him as the convict John Mills born 1793 in London, transported for life on the Indefatigable. It is his parentage I am trying to confirm. Any assistance or advice is greatly appreciated.

I am hoping someone with Genealogy SA membership could what available information there might be for the death record of Charles Wood who died in 1931. An article in Trove mentioned the death of a Charles Wood, formerly of Victoria, a Fruiterer, who died at King William Street, Kent Town. I am wondering if he may be the missing Charles Henry Wood, Fruiterer, who was born in England  in 1849 but immigrated with his family in 1856, he married and had four children in Melbourne between 1873 and 1880 and then I can find no further record of him.
Any assistance, ideas or suggestions are gratefully received.

Wiltshire / Help needed - who was Robert Hall?

I have plenty of records for Thomas Hall, born (according to the census) in 1796 in Trowbridge Wiltshire, the son of Robert Hall, a builder. Thomas married three times and always states his father was a Robert Hall, builder. He is also consistent with Trowbridge as his place of birth. The only Thomas s/o Robert that I can find, born in the right time frame in Wiltshire is Robert and Mary Strong in Laycock. They also have a daughter Charlotte, significant because the witnesses at Thomas' first marriage are Robert Hall and Charlotte Hall.

So I really need help to find who Robert Hall, builder is? He is fathering Thomas in either Trowbridge or Laycock in 1796 and that's all I know?

Thomas Hall and Mary Ann Keele have either seven or eight children? Baptism's for Thomas 1822, Mary Ann 1823, Eliza Jemima 1825, Stephen Keele, 1826, Thomas Keele 1829, Edward Thomas 1830, Emma 1830, Robert 1832.

Edward Thomas is my mystery, all the children, except Edward are on the 1841 census and are traceable as Thomas' children EXCEPT Edward. Thomas Keele was born 17 Feb 1829, Back Road Islington, Edward Thomas 13 Jan 1830, North Manor Road Chelsea, Emma born 28 Aug 1830 bap 28 Nov 1830 2 Seymour Place Islington.

So having Edward in January and Emma in August seems very unlikely. Father Thomas is consistently listed as either a gentleman or a clerk. Should I assume that Edward doesn't actually belong to this family? He doesn't marry to give a marriage cert to check and I can't find him in a1841 or 1851 census.

Any help or suggestions gratefully received.
