There is a public family tree on ancestry that claims that Julius Leon Baptiste Marion, b France married Catherine Snell in Geelong 21 May 1855, only they were married as Charles Simpson and Jane Stewart? This is supported by son John Napoleon Marions birth being registered as John Napoleon Simpson (MMN Stewart) in 1856.

Itís a tricky one though as Catherine Snell (b Wicklow) arrived in Geelong from Liverpool on 27 Apr 1855 aboard the Epsom, so she would be married just three weeks later under an assumed name?

You may need to purchase the Simpson/Stewart marriage certificate.
