Hi,  I've  trawled through the awful local Library microfiche collection here in Vic searching for the following.  I wonder if you might be more successful.  I am pretty certain Vic is the only state of interest.  Thanks if you can spare the time.
(1) Lily Aileen Parrett.  b. 1894 (Aust)  Fath. Alfred Arthur Parrett.  Moth.  Martha Parrett (nee Daniels) who  lived around Richmond/South Yarra in 1890's & onwards   No further info.  Did she marry or die we wonder.

(2)  Jessie Parrett. b.14/2/72.  Fath. George James Parrett.  Moth. Eliza Parrett.  Accompanied other family members to Aust. in 1895 per "The Orient"   1912 Electoral roll lives in Richmond aged 40, unmarried .

I cannot find anything further on her.  May have made a late marriage, died or gone home again to England!

By the way, does anyone know a way to find passenger list for this era of people going to Uk from Aust?  Best Regards, Sue

Completed Census Requests / 1891 &/or 1901 look up Minnie Disney (nee Parrett)

It's a bit of an unusal name, both before and after her marriage so I am hoping she will pop up

Minnie Parrett b. 26/7/70  London Dalston Middlesex
m. Charles Burwood Disney 1893 Hackney
She shows with her parents etc in1881, in sth Hackney but not in1891
Some faint clues that she might be in West Ham in1901

Without paying to view  the details I did spot a Minnie Disney on 1901online, but the age was about 10 years out.  She was living in the borough of West Ham.  I suppose this means Hampshire.  Bad Aussie Geography.  With hopeful Thanks .Sue  PS No Minnie Mouse jokes!

London and Middlesex / Danesdale road, Sth Hackney

There is not much chance I will get to see the ancestors' former home if it is still there -the tyranny of distance- and I wondered if any chatters happen to live in its vicinity in South Hackney right on the border of (I think) Tower Hamlets.  Its name in 1800's was Dagmar Rd and I am interested in numbers 48 and 32.  I don't know when it changed to DANESDALE
From my difficult- to -read online map, the boundary roads seem to be Cassland Rd, Victoria Park Rd, Gascoyne Rd and Brookfie Rd and some other little streets near it are Annis, Christie and Harrowgate.
I know london is a big place, but if anyone could send me a description of the houses, it would help to build my picture.

Surrey Completed Look up Requests / census 1841(or others) Robert Parrett
« on: Monday 28 March 05 07:07 BST (UK)  »
Robert married Elizabeth Evans in 1836 at St Mary's Church,Kennington Park Rd Newington.  1861 census shows (a very likely)  him, though ages are wrong, at 11 Percy terrace, Plumstead, Lewisham.  I am searching for earlier material to establish his offspring.  He died in 1887 aged 71 (certified)  Seems to have moved around a bit.  Maybe I should try Kent too.  Aussie's geography of the counties is poor!
