Hi,

If they were living in Everton in 1885, they will probably be buried in Everton.

Hi,

Back Bond Street ran between Bond Street and Burlington Street.

The first map shows the Vauxhall Road end.

The second (at a larger scale), shows the Limekiln Lane end.

See you,

Tony

Hi,

The map is taken from the Ordnance Survey Town Plan of Liverpool, surveyed between 1849 and 1864. The scale of 1:1056, or five feet to 1 mile, was published on 50 sheets, and covers Liverpool from Kirkdale in the north, to Toxteth in the south. I have scans of all 50 sheets, and I hope to publish them on my website next year.

Regards,

Tony

Hi,

I've added street numbers to make the map more legible.
These courts were probably demolished to make way for the railway.

Hi,

Dawson Court is on Cropper Street, which runs off Lawton Street.

I think that Dawson Place is referring to Dawson Court, although there is a Dawson Place about half a mile away, off Hunter Street.
