William Caines 1710 Hazelbury Bryan married Martha Watts 1735 St Peter Dorchester
Son William was bapt 1st Jan 1739 Mappowder
Daughter Honor was born c1751 but no bapt found yet

From Honor's Will she mentioned her brother Aquila and Honor and her brother Samuel were joint Executors of their Fathers Estate

Is anybody researching the Kaines families of Guernsey?

I've got a Richard Kaines 1804 born England, who became a pawnbroker in Guernsey, married to Elizabeth, children Selina c1839 and Henry c1845.
Richard died Nov 1889 aged 86 yrs.

Any help would be appreciated

Somerset / Re: Richard CAINES Coroner of Somerset

Richard Pople Caines was born 1767 Brockhampton. Dorset and baptised in Buckland Newton. Dorset

As well as being appointed to be a Captain in the Somerton and Langport Volunteers in 1808, he had been previously appointed to be a First Lieutenant in 1803 and described as Richard Pople Caines, Gentleman.

He married three times and had six children.

In 1823, he was discharged from the Kings Bench Prison as an Insolvent Debtor.

He was elected Mayor four times.

He died and was buried 30th Aug 1851 at Blessed Virgin Mary Huish Episcopi. Somerset, together with his third wife, Sybella

Is anybody researching William and Charlotte Hammond?
Both were born in Dorset and moved to St.Peter Port, where they became successful as butchers.
Charlotte was nee Caines born c1796.
