I think the 2nd clip is "to see" and then probably the initials of a doctor.
"Infirm" in the 4th clip is probably short for Infirmary.

Thanks, Bookbox !! I'd been trying to decipher that 2nd last word for ages, but was fixated on it being digits.

Yes, I agree that father and sons seems likely - and it matches the info that we have in our family tree.
Using those Court Leet attendance records & documents, I'm currently trying to untangle the many John, William and Robert Grahams in the previous generations - with limited success so far (!!) but I think the Court Leet Steward/s would've found my spreadsheet very useful  ;D

Thanks to your Latin translations & transcriptions, I've become familiar with some of the vocabulary, phrases & meaning of the records, and hope my translation of the attached from the 1677 Court Leet is almost correct - but I probably have the rent wrong:
"And similarly came John Graham son of Robert and took from the surrender of  Robert Graham William Graham his son & William Graham of Wetheral etc Two acres of land lying and being at Boontowne at the annual rent of one shilling 10 pence”

Thanks, Bookbox.
I'm sure you've heard it many times before :D but can I please say again how much your translations and transcriptions are appreciated - not only by me, but by many other Rootschatters I'm sure.

The attached Latin surrender/admittance is from the 1729 Court Leet.
I think it is the surrender of a messuage/tenement by John Graham snr to [his son?] John Graham jnr with reversion to John jnr's brother Robert Graham - but I would be grateful if it could be translated for me.
Many thanks.

I was filling in your transcription gaps, but it was quicker to just transcribe the rest of it without checking for the gaps.
Where are the rest of the pages of the will ?

Could you please translate two more Latin admittances, which I've attached ?
And also help decipher two words from some English text attached? The text is from a 1707 Court Leet jury decision regarding the size of a piece of land, and reads:
"upholding the Gate, & hedge of the breadth 10 yds as afores[ai]d [etc?]
John Graham Son of William Graham in his Fathers name & upon his
[authority?], being of one party & Tho.Lowson the other party have Referd the"

I think the two words (in red text) are abbreviations.
Many thanks.
