Apologies, but Gillingham does also log as Wilts on Google!, I am aware of the Kent Gillingham, in fact that town in Kent is what has led me to the Dorset/Wilts one....! Any idea how I can check electoral rolls for that time then?

Wiltshire / 7 South St Lookup request if poss!
« on: Saturday 20 July 13 19:34 BST (UK)  »

I am trying to establish who is registered on the census as living at 7 South Street, Gillingham, Wiltshire in the 1931 census. I know it's along shot, but is it possible that some kind soul would know where to look or look for me for this information?

Hi Carole, thanks for your reply. I believed that Freebmd didn't perhaps cover every marriage and the parish records would be more comprehensive?

Thank you for your reply and for looking for me

Can some kindly person please look up the St Andrews Parish Church, Chippenham Parish Records for 1928 for the marriage of the surname CRANE for me please?

Thank you in anticipation

Further to my last, is it plausible that someone may have the 1930 or 1940 census and be able to tell me if Carl/Karl is with his Mother? (I know that his Father Cornelious was dead by then). Still hoping! Regards, Mark

I hope SKS can help me out here...I have a Cornelious & Mary Maher in the US during the early part of the 20th great people helped me with lots of information on them. I have now made a new lead....I believe that Cornelious' son named either Carl or Karl came back to the UK during WW2 as a serviceman after the US commited to the is said that he was 21 to 25 years of age. Can someone please look to see if a Carl or Karl Maher was born between 1910-1925 in MA to a Cornelious & Mary Maher?

I hope someone can help
