Thank you, that is not a name I am familiar with so it didn't stand out to me. Looks probably though, thank you.

Handwriting Deciphering & Recognition / Help to read a name- COMPLETE (THANKS)
« on: Monday 13 August 18 12:42 BST (UK)  »
Hi
I am having difficulty reading a name on a marriage entry of 1865 in Dundee and wondered what your views were on it.  It is the names of the parents of the bride.
For the father it says, George Limerick, soldier, deceased. For the mother it says Emma Limerick, MS Mc????? deceased.
I wonder if anyone can decipher this surname for me please.

Thanks
Neil

Thanks Jon, that's great.
SO to confirm I no longer need the original request.  I still need https://www.archway.archives.govt.nz/ViewFullItem.do?code=16624577 (Dorothy Houchen's probate)  and am unsure if that is on family search which is something I need to familiarise myself with further as I didn't realise so much stuff was on there.
I will be off line for a couple of days now unfortunately.
Thanks for everyone's help. I am over the moon with this information and development.

Cheers

Neil

THanks Lu, yes Lucy seems to have lived with the Evans family throughout, and according to the newspaper report when she died she went to NZ in 1913, which it seems was when Elanor was ill so that may have been the catalyst for her going at there at 72.
Thanks

That's not remiss at all, I'm really grateful for the info.  and that too is interesting, thanks. Can I get her inquest on line, as Alan mentioned its availability?

WOw, you have it all going on in NZ! That would be an interest addition to knowledge, as she was only 31 I believe. Is it something I can apply for over the internet? (I'm in the UK)
