Hi Jim
I have a Catherine Brady in my tree. She is sister to Rose who is my GGG Grandmother. Other siblings I have are Mary. When Rose got married in 1852  , in the parish of Annagh ,Catherine was a witness.
I have found Brady to be a common name too , not that common that I have found any connections though!

If she was Catholic and buried in Dumbarton i think she will be in Dumbarton Cemetry.
The nearest parish to Risk st is St Patricks or St Michaels

Hi Janice
Yes I do know Grahams from Dumbarton , dont know if its Silverton or not though!
I think the only memorial statue in Dumbarton is the Boer war at the County Buildings, but dont quote me.
If I get to Dumbarton Library any time soon I will ask for you. You could email them , I have always found them really helpful in my investigations. Was William married or leave any children behind?

Hi Janice
Silverton is a large council housing estate which consists mostly of one up one down buildings. My Grandparents lived there and it was always a very nice area , it still is , I live round the corner from it. It is located in Dumbarton East not far from the castle. I didnt know there was a co op there although there still is a co op funeral place along the road. Do you know the address? I could get a picture if you like?

Hi Flora
Do you live near Dumbarton at all? They have some pictures of Dennistown in there. I photocopied a couple as my Father in law grew up there ,then went as you say, to Brucehill.
I am not sure how to upload pictures on here , but will have a bash if you like
Regards , Mrst.
