the original is not on Anc. unfortunately, but you've been so helpful - thank you!

Yeah, the image isn't sadly [sorry if that misled you], but the transcription is, it has no more info than FS apart from the corrected dates.

Whilst I agree with Rosie, if you have access to Anc. it is on there, you may have to use your local library if not. We can't quote from pay sites unless they are free records.

Shropshire / Re: WOMBRIDGE pre-1802 Marriage records - do they still exist?
« on: Thursday 15 November 18 03:56 GMT (UK)  »
Hi

The Shropshire FHS [Marriage Index] has Wombridge 1787-1821, so only about 15 years coverage prior to 1802. [Unsure if that would include gaps].

Hi

Cambs FHS, Soham PR:
Witnesses are Wm Pigott, Benja Richmond.

May be worth noting, there was another marriage on the same day with witnesses Wm... ?, Benja Richmond [corrected later].

Given this marriage, I wonder if Sarah b. 1773 is the dau of John & Sarah Rogers.

Burwell PR:
23 Feb 1772 John Blackwell & Sarah Rogers botp, marr.

Sarah Blackwell married Robert Bridgeman 2 August 1810 Burwell Cambridge, is she the daughter of
John Blackwell and Sarah Rogers baptized 1 December 1793.

I also have a Robert Bridgeman who marries a Sarah Blackwell 4 October 1790 Burwell, who would her parents be?

Any thoughts welcome

This bap is possibly more right for the 1790 marriage, though a little young..

Cambs FHS, Burwell:
3 Jan 1773 Sarah Blackwell, d/o John & Sarah, bap.

If you haven't seen the witnesses for the 1790 marriage.. Philip Parr & Mary Bridgeman.

Hope this helps
