Hi Ruthie

Never thought of the last letter as a C.  Were the Army Ordinance Corps just one unit across the army or for each county?

Hi Sorrell

Have you checked the 1891 census and the 1881 census to try and track the parents down and where they were born and  were living?

Hi jacdee

It does take time and patience with the inevitable ups  8) and downs  ::) I have been researching for 7 years and collect all the twigs and branches sideways backwards and forwards.  It does yield some good results as you go further back because of contacts.  Worth checking some sites like geneanet or gencircles and GR, Cindys list etc.  Even a google might help!

Cheers

Trystan

Do you think with the aid of graphic manipulation technolgy software we can morph or render rootschat in 3D and add a game engine?

Just been struck by a sudden brainwave and as I was replying to a post.  How about a game called World of Rootschat.  You know where you play the role of detective etc ..... and have to search various worlds or towns cities on quests for the various scrolls, parish registers census info etc.  Collect gold and trade it to see images of ancestors etc.  Any thoughts?

Hi again Ann

Just noticed you are researching Forsyth in Glasgow, you do not have any in Lanarkshire around the Shotts area do you?  Try Geneanet for Forsyth as I know Glasgow comes up a lot and links to various other researchers.

Cheers
