Gloucestershire Lookup Requests / Re: 1841 Census TEAGUE Gloucester-West Dean
« on: Monday 15 November 04 16:07 GMT (UK)  »
Hi Sammi
It seems that we have the same names but not the same area.  All my early Teague's are from the Forest of dean in Gloucestershire.
I am decended from
Edward and Elizabeth Teague, their son
Thomas and Amy, then their son
George and Harriet, then their son
Tom and Elizabeth, by now they are in Yorkshire, their son
James and Helena.
Do any of your's come from the Forest?

Completed Census Requests / Re:Original 1881 census Bradford - BUSFIELD
« on: Tuesday 15 June 04 06:58 BST (UK)  »
Hi Arfermo

Thought I'd better put the record straight.  It is a transcript error.

I have managed to get hold of a photocopy of the original census page and "Margaret" has been overwritten by "Mary C" as I was hoping.

I couldn't understand how "Margaret" had the same parents and the same named children as my Gt Gt Grandmother.

It just shows that you are really better off looking at the originals.
Thankyou for looking anyway
