Source info

Is it really Margaret BUSFIELD lodging with Willie and Susannah SWAINE???
TIA

HI

I have been trying to get hold of this out of print book for a few months now.

I've tried;

Book searches on the internet
The publishers - Sutton Publishers Ltd Stroud
Local shops in the Forest of Dean
Abebooks search
Amazon
etc etc etc

Has anyone out there got a copy that I can either buy, beg or borrow please

Hi All

Would SKS do a look up on the 1861 census for
Mary Christian SWAINE she would be aged 20 born in N Bierley.
Her parents are Willie and Sarah SWAINE. Siblings, Hannah, Elizabeth, John, Sarah Jane and William Henry.

It is possible that she has already married Thomas BUSFIELD by the time of the 1861census although I have not been able to find a marriage record for them.

Their son Joseph Swaine BUSFIELD was born in 1876 in Bradford and at the time they were living at 100 Bolton Road Bradford

I would imagine by the 1871 census she is deffinately married to Thomas BUSFIELD he would be aged 30.

Thomas BUSFIELD died in 1881 and Mary Christiana BUSFIELD (SWAINE) died in 1888

I would be very grateful for any information on my Gt Grandparents

TIA

Hi Grub

It seems likely that they are both mine as Mary's maiden name was SWAINE.  It looks like Joseph was staying with his Uncle Benjamin & Aunt Susannah.

Thankyou

Hi

Would SKS do a lookup on the 1891 census for my Gt Gt Granparents
Thomas & Mary BUSFIELD please.
They should have with them a son named Joseph Swaine Busfield aged 15 years, my Gt Grandfather.

They will more than likely be around Bolton Road in Bradford.

Thankyou
