Does anyone know what the date on this marriage certificate is, I know it's June 1919 but can't make out the day, 30th is my best guess

Hi all,

I'm having trouble finding some info, on my GGM Annie Bowness' birth certificate (09 June1883 in Maryport, Cumberland) her parents are listed as Thomas and Margaret Bowness (nee Heartley), but I can't find anything else, marriage record for them, or the 1901 and 1911 census records that have Annie in them aswell.

Any help would be apprecatied.

I'm trying to find out who Clara's mother was.

Clara was born Dec 1890 in Rainton, married Daniel Cuttiford in 1919, remarried after his death, and died Clara Friskin Sep 1971 in Bolton. From Clara and Daniel's marriage cert I've got her father as Enoch Rigby (deceased).

I've hit a dead end now though

I'm struggling to read Clara's father's first name, and also the ages of Daniel and Clara, 37 and 25?  ???

Another look up request that I'm having no luck with..!

My maternal grandmother was Joan Mavis Foster born 09/11/30 died 24/12/1989 in Bolton. My mum told me that Joan's parents were William and Annie and Annie was from Barrow-in-Furness and moved to Bolton for work at about 13
On Joan's birth record it says mother's maiden name is Bowness..

I've found a marriage record for Annie Bowness to a Harold Foster (my mum may have gotten confused because her father's parents are also an Annie and a William) June 1929 in Bolton. I've also found a birth record for Annie Bowness, born 1909 in Cumbria.

Annie died in Bolton in about 2000 but I can't find a record of that  ??? and I also can't find any details about her in the 1911 census in Bolton/Cumbria or the surrounding areas, so not sure where to go from here.

I can't find ANY information about Harold Foster other than the marriage record, and I'm not even sure that these are the right people!  :-\

I've only recently started looking into my family history and I'm having great results with my mum's side of the family, but can't find anything about my dad's parents. Both his parents died when he was really young so he doesn't remember much about them.

He told me that his mother's name was Elizabeth Cottiford, and she married William Williams. William died in about 1967. Elizabeth remarried but I don't know who to. Elizabeth died of TB around 1975 in Farnworth, Bolton when she was approx. 40 years old. Her first name might have been Mary, with Elizabeth as a second name. I can't find anything about her, birth or death records, maybe because she remarried and I don't know what her surname was at death.

Any advice on where to start or any information anyone can find would be much appreciated.
