randal and mary noden of myddle shropshire

Not sure if you could confirm whether this couple had a son called John born very roughly around 1731. I can see lots of other children christened around that time naming Randal and Mary as the parents but no John.
In 1751 a john noden married mary brown in Myddle and i was wondering where he was born. Thanks

I sympathise.
What I usually do is look at someone else. Have you tried researching the Henshaw line. Maybe there will be some connections there that link into the Fairey family history. Good luck

Failsworth has a Manchester postcode these days but it is right next door to Oldham and is one of the nearest suburbs of Oldham too, it was always part of Oldham prior to the county changes which created Greater Manchester. Crumpsall and Prestwich are also next door neighbours. The 1919 marriage cert should give you their fathers name.

this could be your age 2 William
in 1901
Father William 28
Mother Mary 29
Catherine 8
John 6
Mary 4
William 2
Elizabeth E under 6 months
At the time they were living in Crumpsall area looks like John Street.
The surname is spelt Fairy.
The family looks as if they moved to Moston which came under Failsworth 10 years on which would bring them into the Oldham area for registration purposes etc. Unfortunately we are not allowed to reference the 1911 census on here. Hope this helps

I put the 2 towns into google maps and they are about 8 miles apart. I would have thought it unlikely they are the same people. Baptisms were usually undertaken within 3 months of the baby being born so the dates are a bit of a stretch too.

thanks for your reply. The 1841 record you have foundin the correct one. The born in county info is incorrect as on the 1851 the record has thomas b in dawley and Mary born in Manchester, I thank you for the possible maiden name of Foulkes. Seem a bit strange that they married in Cheshire though
