Unfortunately the mother and father are not on there, probably because my family either didnt know their names or decided not to since he wasnt a very liked person

Looks Like I am at a dead end, any ideas on what to do now?

One of my ancestors is William Watkins, him and his family were born in Neath. He was born in 1835 and died in 1893. He married a woman named Ann Davies, his son was William Watkins, born in 1858 and he died in 1935.

William's father was apparently born in Merthyr Tydfil in 1802 and died in 1883, his wife was named Ann

Is was wondering if someone could assist me in locating William Watkins's (1802 - 1883) father

Hello

I am researching my paternal grandfather, Joseph Fitzpatrick I would like to know more about his life, parents etc, however, I only know he died in Inverurie, Aberdeen shire, Scotland in 1995, he worked on an oil rig and he was born in Tipperary, Ireland, about 1927/1929.

any information you could find will be appreciated

The record does however give a birth date for Thomas, I have been trying to match this record with a possible baptism, but with no success

I was wondering if someone could have a look at the marriage record of Thomas Steel and Eleanor Turnbal, dated 26th June 1776, Nichol Forest Cumberland.

I am trying to find Thomas's father, possible a John Steel.

Yes I have seen this record before, however I am not completely certain that the Thomas in this baptism record and that of the one married in 1776 are one and the same

If someone could find out if the two Thomas's are the same person i would be grateful

Hello fellow genealogists

Please could you help me find the mother and father of Thomas Steel, his marriage record dating 26th June 1776 to Eleanor Turnbal in Nichol Forest does not provide parents.

One of Thomas's children was Joseph Steel, baptised in Stapleton in 1803, born in 1797 and died 1867. His sister was Hannah Steel, baptised in the same church.
