Norfolk / John Palmer 1600
« on: Wednesday 20 March 24 19:58 GMT (UK)  »
Evening all,

I've been looking for John Palmer in Great Yarmouth c.1600.
I found this on FamilySearch.
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:J3XT-9GS

Scrolling though the records I've got to 1600 and July.
Firstly it says the 2nd
And I cannot make out whether John is listed.
May just be my tired eyes.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

I have this entry for a baptism I think I have managed to get most of it.

The 29th January 1786 Baptised Margaret Julia
Phillip and Maria Murray ..... no idea of the rest.

To me (and this is  guess) the other names are God Parents.
Patrick Furer
Richard Scanlon
Sarah Bolger

Priest Dan Gaffney

Did I get much right ?

Thanks in advance,

Thanks everyone .

It's in Chichester in Sussex and it's in 1669

Oldest recorded version of the name and a bit off route (most Stogdons/Stogdens are in Devon/Bristol/London)

Looking for little confirmation on this Baptism Entry

Elizabeth daughter of William Stogdon was Baptised the 24th of October 1669.

Mostly it's Williams Surname I need clarifying (for my peace of mind)

I don't have the birth Cert but Julia was christened in St. Patrick's RC church Soho Square,
Another daughter Catherine died 12 Sep 1841 in Clarks Buildings St. Giles in the Fields.
