Scotland / Flight Lieutenant Donald Grisdale of Pollokshields, Glasgow

Hello

I dont have access to Scottish records so maybe someone could help?

Donald Grisdale was born in Pollockshields, Glasgow in 1919 to William Walter Grisdale and Sarah Grisdale. The family had come from Liverpool a few years earlier. Donalds wife was Susan Brown Kippen. Donald became a Lancaster pilot with RAF 542 Squadron and died in action on Feb 14, 1945.

Can anyone find details of his birth, marriage etc? Also had he other Glasgow born siblings? When did his parents die?

I'm trying to find the parents of Philip Thomas Grisdale who was killed in WW2 flying a Spitfire. He was born in 1917 in Wandsworth and his mother was a Grover, but try as I might I can't find his parents names. Any ideas gratefully received.

Australia / Death Edward Grisdale (maybe Gresdale) Sydney 1885

I found a death of Edward Grisdale (spelt Gresdale on the record) in Sydney in 1885. Is there any information regarding his age or father on the record?

I'm trying to see if he was the Edward Grisdale who arrived on the Convict Ship Numa in 1834 as a free mariner and married convict Sarah Jones in St John's Paramatta in 1835 (she came on the same ship).

I'm trying to find more precise details of Thomas Grisdale's birth. He was born in Toxteth Liverpool to William and Margaret Grisdale. It might have been June 1876. He was to die in the Boer War in 1900.

Durham Lookup Requests / James Grisdale 1782 Stockton Durham

James Grisdale Gentleman died in 1782 in Stockton Durham. In his will his wife is Elizabeth and his nephews and nieces (all of Sunderland) are called Michael, Thomas and Ann Wilson.

Can anyone find a marriage of James Grisdale and Elizabeth Wilson?

Also James was married before. His first wife had also been married before to a James Dawes?? and they had a son called James Dawes??. I can't read the name of James Grisdale's first wife properly but it looks like Patricia. Can anyone find any information.

I'm looking for the death of Ann (or Ann Jane) Grisdale in Bolton between 1851 and 1861. Wife of John Grisdale a weaver. She was born Anne Rostron in Bolton in 1813

Also the remarriage of this John Gridale between 1861 and 1868 to an Ellen.

In 1764 (May) a son of Solomon Grisdale was baptized. Can anyone who has the original records please tell me the name of the child?

Also in 1780 Solomon and Ann have a son, is the name really Simeon?
