Meath / Rooney
« on: Tuesday 15 January 13 13:28 GMT (UK)  »
I have a Rooney in-law on my tree? married to a Power but can not find any evidence to support this. I have found birth certs for Rooney being born in Trim in 1920's. follow up information has come from court records. I have also an address for Mullingar but have not been able to link this to the Rooney. Sorry to be vague but this person may still be alive so I'm trying to be discreet. Any Rooney people who maybe connected and would love to hear from you.

Hi Suz.
I got the marriage details from Birmingham Archives and Heritage it's a poor copy but it is Aston Church which I think came under Warwickshire at the time. Now this John is shown as Boulton the date is 4th october 1831. I am guessing that witness Hannah Taylor is Elizabeth's sister or cousin.
The death you found for Elizabeth I have, yes Beeston is the area and Islington was with-in it.
It was approched just before Elland Road football gound Leeds but the area is completly changed now.
They were a close knit family all living very near to each other. Edwins son Thoams Edwin lived nearby too.
I am interested in Elizabeth and her family how they came to be in Warwickshire. I think this will prove difficult as I have no details of her parents from the marriage cert, only that she is spinster.
Thanks for your help. k

Good Morning everyone, many thanks for your interest shown.
Now Edwin Thomas dob 1839 is my great grandfather son of John Bolton.
I have managed to come forward with this line. I too am not sure where John died but Elizabeth died in Islington Leeds. Children up to Edwin were born in Binley Warwickshire then the family statred to move up North, why? Trish you have found two girls I did not know of.
I have Edwins birth certificate Elizabeth maiden name is Taylor.
The marriage details I have for John & Elizabeth for Aston church shows spelling Boulton as surname.
Sue, The witness on the marriage copy are John Hayes and Hannah Taylor.
Which tree did you see the dob 4/10/1811 as I could try for birth cert for Elizabeth.
Most of the other children mentioned are correct, many thanks for your input. :)

Lovely photograph of St Nicholas of Myra. I was impressed when I first visted 2000 but as the church
had just closed I could not enter. When i visited again in 2011 I attened the sunday mass. It is really nice inside and has a bright modern feel about it. My mother married here in the 60's

My 2x Gr grandfather John Bolton married Elizabeth Taylor 1831? Aston Church
Elizabeth is shown as being born Warwickshire in 1841 census but in the 1851 it states London Middlesex. Does anyone have Elizabeth on their tree she would have been born 1809. ???

If I'v done my homework right address shown later Barrarck Street Mullingar. The above Lawerance may have a brother reference made of cousin to this birth child. Lawerance may have been born 1908's

I have not been able to obtain images (and hence details of informants, cause of death, etc) for any records beyond around 1920 from that site!

[sorry this relates to the url for Glasnevin records on the previous page]

Hi I got information of burial plots from Glasnevin  Trust most recent burial being 1991. True it does not offer details other than dates plot numbers ect. It does show last know address. Hope I'm not tell my granmother to suck eggs, just want to help. :)
