Hi,

Can anybody please offer me possible dates for this photo? I believe that it could possibly be my 3x great grandparents who were married in 1853 in Brighton, Sussex, England.

If the photo seems like it is from 1870 or later a secondary location could be Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand

Any help would be much appreciated,

Just wondering whether anyone that is going to the Wellington Archives may be able to lookup this inquest file please? I am interested in any information that can help identify who this man was, such as... spouse or childrens names, age, his home address etc.

Hi,

A relative and I believe that this photo is of our 2x great grandmother Mary Cecilia Sinclair, but a third relative believes that it is in fact Mary's mother Jean.

I would appreciate it if someone might be able to have a go at estimating the age of my great grandmother & roughly what year it may have been taken.

We do not have an original for a better quality scan.

Any help would be much appreciated

Hi,

I was hoping that someone might have the skills to remove the "PROOFS ONLY" stamp from this photo for me. This is only a sample as the people in it are still alive (although they are about 50 years older now) so I presume I would need to PM the full picture.

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me out by looking up my 1x & 2x great grandparents on the burial locator.

Both couples lived in Christchurch near Addington so I presume they may be buried at Addington Cemetery but I am wanting confirmation since they are not listed on the Chch cemeteries database. Also... does the burial locator mention plot locations? If so could i please get these too.

Names: Henry "aka Harry" GATES (5 May 1869 - 14 Aug 1954) & his wife Martha Annie GATES (nee HUSBAND) (1873 - 30 Mar 1947)

Names: Harry Benfield GATES (30 Oct 1897 - 9 Nov 1974) & Catherine "aka Kate" GATES (nee RUSSELL) (13 Dec 1901 - 17 Jul 1991)

Any help would be much appreciated.
