I was told that most of my family came from Modrenny but it also looks like some were from outside Dublin. I will visit Modreeny as that is the last place (as far as I know) that they were before coming to Canada (Lucan,Ontario, Middlesex Country). Thank you everyone for responding.

Thank you China. I will check it out.
I just went through the cemetery index in the area and contacted St Mark's again with no luck.

George Longworth Hodgins ( brother john b) 1806)  married Nancy Ellen (Annie) Hill  b)1805 d) 1866
I believe Georges father was William b) 1765 d) 1856 in Modreeny and mother was Elenor Revington Atkinson b) 1768 or 1770 d) 1871 Ashley Astates, Tipperary.
I was told that most of the family was buried in Modreeny. Is there a Church of Ireland there and what is its name?
Thank you for your help. I do appreciate it.

JHCulbert,
Phillip/Susan are my gg grandparents. My father's maternal great grandparents. Their daughter Sarah married Sam Hodgins and they had 11 children in Lucan, Ontario. My grandmother was one of their youngest children. I have pictures of Sarah and Samuel along with a number of their children.
Sarah is very beautiful.

I contacted St Mark's and they had no record of it. I may try again. Perhaps it is listed under Margaret not Maggie May etc ( although I did mention both).
The Obit (Jan 29, 1941) said the interment was there. I then walked the cemetery 3 times. No luck.
I have no information on the burial of her first husband ( John Abbott Murphy) who was my great grandfather, only the death certificate. I assume they are buried together???
Thank you for your help. I did not have the 1921 Victoria Harbour information you gave me which I will add to my notes. I am very appreciative of anything I can find out.

Thank you. It may be my online tree, not sure.
I have been to St. Mark's and could not find her even though that is what the Obit said. Maybe the service was there but not the burial. Her parents are buried at Lakeview Cemetery in Midland.
My great grandfather John Abbott Murphy , her first husband who died in the boat accident (I think Canadian Shiplines?) I can only find his death report but nothing of the explosion or burial.
I will go back to St Mark's but that is where I am struck. I assume they are buried together??
I would greatly appreciate any help you can give me.

Thank you so much. I pulled up the map and it was helpful. I know my family was from Modreeny but also found references to Nenagh and Cloughjordan. Some relatives may have also moved to Cork before moving to Lucan, Ontario, Canada with Colonel Hodgins.
