HI Cullen and good morning

Yes Francis is a good one  he is grt grt grandfather.
I was not sure when he left Chearsley as I found him on the 1881 in Cheddington. By luck some-one has just given me the bucks parish records for marriages in Cheddington so I will start ploughing through to find him or jane who he married.
Thanks for your help I can easily get to the main library that have a great family history room so please let me know if I can return the favour (also I have 1851 census )

Here we go with a real long shot.
I have found the address of a relative in 1881 and it sounds very olde worlde....
       ROSE OF ENGLAND COTTAGE
         MORETON IN MARSH
             GLOS
On closer inspection we find in total 8 families here and it is between the Gas Works and Dunstall Farm...........
Not quite roses round the door then!
Do any of these places still exsist?
             thanks

Hi Cullen
Thanks for checking but sadly not my John
He died at the end of 1861 but I am still having a job with the children.Winslow is not far from me ( Milton Keynes) so it gives me another area to go snooping in.It seems they all got braver and moved out of Chearsley just in case I came looking.
               Thanks
