Kent / Re: Burial of William Finn

The information would be great. He may be a convict but he's still a ancestor. Ending up in Tasmania is obviously the reason i can't find him.
I'll send you my email in a private message
Thanks
Rich

Sorry for the delay on replying. Anne which child of William and Eliza beth are you descended from? The transportation seems a good bet due to the fact i cannot find him on the 1841 census
Thanks again for the replies.

Gloucestershire / Does Anyone have the burial records for Westcote?
« on: Tuesday 19 February 13 11:42 GMT (UK)  »
Hello

I was hoping someone may be able to help me. I am after the burials of a few of my ancestors who lived in Westcote and all died before 1841. They are Henry Lapper and his father Henry (or Harry) Lapper and Mary and Maria (or another Mary) Lapper. The families also went by the name Lapworth.
Any help much appreciated

Thanks

Europe / Re: John De Pau Marriage in France
« on: Wednesday 13 February 13 09:49 GMT (UK)  »
Hello
No i still haven't found the marriage or anything on the family before coming to England. They lived in Rye in Sussex and appear in the baptism and burial records for Rye. On John and Amy's burial record its states that they were French refugees.
Hope you can help
Thanks

Derbyshire / Re: Baptism of Sarah Burrs (or Burrows)
« on: Sunday 10 February 13 15:14 GMT (UK)  »
I have recently purchased the eyam parish registers but still can't find Sarah anywhere. There is a marriage for a Joseph Burr and a Mary Burr (would have thought they are related) but no baptism for a Sarah circa 1752 even without parents being Robert and Ellen. Very annoying brickwall

England / Re: What happened to Jeremiah and Hester Dowling?
« on: Friday 18 January 13 19:10 GMT (UK)  »
That is one of the problems i have, i don't. I can't find any other info on the two Jeremiahs or Hester. The marriage in Fisherton Anger is the last i hear of them. The two daughters marrying in London does broaden the scale of things though.
