I have just noticed (only after 27 years!!!!!!!!!!!!) that the date of birth on my father in law's death cert is wrong, by 10 years. Can anyone tell if it can be corrected?

The are constant requests of how to access police records. There are two locations
1. Public Records Office at Kew, where a person visit is best as searches cost forty five pounds each!

Sorry Louisa I mislead you, the records are held at The National Records Office, and they are not too helpful, they require the offices full name, his warrant number and they charge the princely sum of forty-five pounds per search!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
