Essex Lookup Requests / Re: St Mary the Virgin church baptism records 1888

It's a very short list as that's the only baptism on the 2 Sept 1888

Is the Gray christening not what you're looking for?

There's a bp at St Mary Radwinter on Ancestry showing Thomas William Gray born 3 Aug & bp 2 Sept 1888 - son of Thomas James Gray & Elizabeth Gardiner Gray

As you haven't mentioned a surname I don't know if this is who you're searching for.

Please remember that it's RootsChat policy to not request a lookup from a SPECIFIC subscription site.

Handwriting Deciphering & Recognition / Re: Goldsmith Apprenticeship Record

Have you had a look at SEAX - Essex Archives?
The following might be of interest
https://www.essexarchivesonline.co.uk/result_details.aspx?ThisRecordsOffSet=1&id=232851

This mentions a Richard Wright, Goldsmith (of London). He has property (currently rented) at "South Weald" etc
 - all under the heading of "Register of Papist estates", dated 1717

I have an ancestor who was an apprentice Goldsmith in 1660's and he signed in apprenticeship agreement. Suggest you see of there is a copy of Richard's at the Goldsmith's Company.

It seems that some Memorial Inscriptions from Kings Langley have been transcribed by Herts Family Hist Society

Further info available here - https://www.hertsfhs.org.uk/hfphs6.html

refer: "HRHS Publications List 2022" on the site

EDIT to add:
The MI's done by HRHS that I've seen included grave locations. Don't know if they are all that way - probably worth contacting them though.

« on: Wednesday 31 August 22 13:19 BST (UK)  »
Interesting ...
1889 marriage:  he is "William DAVIES". (Father is "William Davies, a Labourer, dec'd)
The 1895 marriage: he's "William Davis JELLEY" (Father is William JELLEY, a Drover)

1889 marriage, she is "Maria Sullivan WARE", 2nd marriage she's "Maria SULLIVAN"

Witnesses on first one in 1889: Thomas Davies & Frances E Jelley

1895 Witnesses appear to be William  Guinnee (?sp) and Frances Elizabeth Jelley
