Europe / Naturalisation Revoked

My german ancestor became a naturalised British citizen in 1896.  He returned to Germany in 1909 and in 1925 the naturalisation was revoked - notice in the London Gazette.  Does anyone know what information the 1925 document would contain - would it be worth obtaining it from the National Archives at Kew?

Hi LouRoll

Frederick Roll married Dorothea Fisher on 10 March 1844 at St John's Church in Wakefield.  Frederick's father is noted as Henry Roll, Gentleman and Dorothea's father as Charles Fisher, Grocer.  Witnesses were Louis Sehwald? and P Septinstall.  Source - Ancestry
Frederick/Friedrich is included on the german pork butcher database under ID 679 and Dorothea Hoffmann ID 357 with a note that this couple married.  Both entries by Histres.
There is a citizenship declaration for Francois Roll born 17 November 1820 with a birthplace Saverne in the Ancestry records in the Alsace-Lorraine, Germany, French Citizenship Declarations.  This is dated 22 September 1872.  I cannot see any UK Naturalisations for Frederick Roll.

Hope this may be helpful.

Thanks to you both for your help.  Yes, Georg was Brucker originally but after he married he seemed to be known as Brooker.  Maybe people just thought it sounded like that as some records have him as Brucker and some as Brooker.

M_ONeill - That Red Cross knowledge comes in useful when you least expect !

I have the record for german born Georg Brooker in the Red Cross WW1 internee records as follows

Georg Brooker age 31
Art-Rgt 65 Res
Edinburgh 137 Morrison Street
Döttingen, Württemberg (B)

George was a butcher/sausagemaker in the 1911 census married to an english lady.  He was interned and his last address was in Morrison Street.  I do not know what the second line of the record entry relates to i.e. Art-Rgt 65 Res.  Could anyone help?
