Pembrokeshire / Marriage between William Phillips & Ruth ?
« on: Friday 12 August 05 15:10 BST (UK)  »
Hi All,
Can someone please help me to find an entry for the marriage of William Phillips (1846 Haverfordwest-1915) to Ruth ? (1842-1879). William was my great, great grandfather and this was his first wife. I know that their first child, Thomas, was born in Pembrokeshire c.1865. The 1871 census also shows two further children born also in Pembrokeshire, William c.1868 and Mary Jane c.1870. This is how I assume their marriage will also have taken place in Pembrokeshire c.1865. William latter moved to Glamorgan and married Emma Jane Lloyd in 1880.
Hope some one can help as this is driving me mad........ :-\

Glamorganshire / Llanguicke - what district in 1872-1875

Hi All
I'm looking for the birth entries on 1837.com for two newly discovered relatives. They were:
Ann(e) Phillips DOB 1872 and Phoeby (I think as the 1881 census just shows ..oeby) DOB 1875. They were born in Llanguicke. What District would this have been in as I can't find their enteries?

In 1881 they are shown living at Gors-yr-helyg, Llangiwg with their father William, brother william and their step mother Emma.

Thanks

Hi All,
Looking for any information on David Phillips born in Haverfordwest, South Wales, D.O.B. as yet unknown, Wife's name as yet unknown.
As yet I only know of one son - William Phillips born in Haverfordwest on 21.06.1846, died 01.01.1915 at Station Road, Glais, South Wales. Married Emma Lloyd at St Peters in Pontardawe on 29.01.1880. Emma was born 21.06.1860 and died 10.04.1939 at 85 High Street, Clydach, West Glamorgan.

I only know David is William's father from the information on William's marriage certificate. I can't seem to find any trace of the family in Haverfordwest!

Can anyone help?

Thanks Emma
