I'm looking for a Matilda moxham born Bermondsey London in 1801 she married John holcroft and in 51 and 41 census has always put Matilda moxhan or moxham holcroft down .i found a marriage to John holcroft but its too a Matilda moxhame jefferys in 1824 Bermondsey Surry .ive been trying to track her parents down but no luck I wonder if she's related to your John moxam

hi there did U find them on a census togather or did U manage to find marriage record .i haven't yet found a census record for John only Lazarus and Clara .on the marriage certificate  both dad and son have same job as looks like same word I thought maybey butler too  :)

Hi there I also have holcroft ancestors I have a John holcroft born 1801 in cheetham Lancashire his dad was Lambert h and mum Elizabeth brown married 1790 in Manchester they moved down to London abt 1814 .lamberts dad was Thomas holcroft who married alice Barnes in1763 winwick Lancashire .john holcroft married Matilda moxhame jefferys in 1824 and had a girl called Matilda and a son  John both born bishopsgate londen Matilda married Fred alderton in 1853 and there son Edward is my gg grandad .i haven't been able to get back further than Thomas and alice in 1763 but I did find an alice Barnes born 1746 father John Barnes in Lancashire I wonder if are holcrofts are related

Hi I've found out claras family in Essex .i think John Francis ovulation could be butler but it was hard to read .rose Harriet Francis changed her name to Harriet maud and married Edward alderton they had a daughter called rose who is my great gran mother .i will look at those links to see if I can find him in india

Am trying to find out any information on Lazarus Francis I know he married Clara Ann garrood in 1866 in linden arear and they were cooks from census records they had children rose Harriet f rose Clara f and Harold ..what im interested in now is his parents his dad was John Francis unfortunately I can't read what the occupation was on marriage certificate as very unclear would be nice to find out why his dad was in India and who Lazarus mother was I wonder if she was Indian lazarus birth year is abt 1830 im not sure when he came to Britain and weather his parents came with him .on one of the census records his birthplace is put as madras .

Hello I have Eliza Moore and Winfred Moore living in Manchester born Ireland in 1830 maybey just before .they both married Eliza to William fox and Winfred to Henry horocks .could they b related to your Moore family

Yes try emailing them as I know when I emailed wood ale cemetry they were more than happy to locate the name for me but unfortunatly they couldn't find it but suggested I tried the private cemetry across the road from them .i have noticed a few Boniface surnames on tomb stones in the one in hove  it stood out because I use to care for an old lady called Lillian Boniface and it reminded me off her.she pased away about 8 year ago now . tried next time im there I'll have a look
