John Robertson Corporal Black Watch reg no.3/1752. He joined 1885/6 served 22yrs 327 days 3yrs
39days in special reserve. Was discharged 2nd Sep 1911.he served in the Boer War I have his medals.

Alexander Lawson joined Argyle Sutherland 91st Regiment February 1872 age 14yrs 1month reg.no.
1444. On his daughters birth cert born Farnham 1896 he was Quartermaster/Sergeant he was still serving in 1901 living in Sterling.
John Lawson Sergeant in 60th Rifle Regiment joined 1830/1 was born Alford Aberdeen 1807 married Elizabeth McBain 1828 alford Aberdeen. No other information other than his sons marriage cert 1856 states mother and father dead.
James Salmon born 1874 served 10th Hussars(Prince of Wales own Royal regiment) res no.3231 1899 5 years South Africa

The above Jane Smith is the daughter of William Smith who was serving with the 1st Battalion Royal Scots in St Lucia, he was born about 1816 Orwell Kinross Scotland.
Would appreciate any help finding Janes birth.

Mary wife
William son born Ireland age 25
Ann dau age 21 born Gibralter
Isabelle dau age 18 born Gib
Margaret dau age 16 born Gib
Jane dau age 15 born ST Lucia West Indies
on 1871 census still living Lochgelly listed as pensioner Sargeant instructor of Volunteers
1881 census William Smith age 66 Army pensioner still living Lochgelly
he dies June 1881 death cert says Private 1st Royal Scotts Chelsea pensioner
Wanting to know if there will be army record for him also where can I find birth registration for his children born abroad.

Stewart Milne born Alyth Perth 1896
emigrated to America 1923, I have him on the 1930 US Census living at
Oil Creek
Crawford Pennysylvania
he is Manager of a Farm, could anyone lookup when he sailed to America, also his wife Isabelle H.Milne who emigrated in 1924.
