Christening 10th jan 1779 Aston-on- Trent, Derby.England:
Father Christopher Myers : Mother Ann.

 Another is.
Christopher Meyer.
Christening : Apr 1781 St Mary Whitechapel,Stepney, London England.
 Father Charles Meyer : Mother Anne.

Don't know if this information will be of any help to you?
  Cannot help with the place name, but I am sure some kind rootschatter will come to your aid.

   There is a death on Ancestry. Com:
   William John Morrish: born 07.12.1909:Death Sept 1997: age 87:
   Reg-Kensington and Chelsea, London :Reg No C7C.Entry 28.
   I have checked births at sea and oversea's, found nothing to date!
  The only other info is the same as" Bee" has given you.
