The Common Room / Re: looking for Ethal Gotobed

Hi.
Sorry about the delay in answering this topic, but the library could not get a copy of Fenwomen by Mary Chamberlain as it has been out of print for a longtime. But I was able to get the book from a second hand book shop and it arrived last week. The book "A Portrait of Women in an English Village FENWOMEN by Mary Chamberlain" is a wonderfull book and well worth reading, It gives me the full life story of Ethel Gotobed.
In an attempt to find Mary Chamberlain I placed a few Posts in Forums which had her name on the list, got a lot of replies, but the most interesting was from   Bill Hobbs.com in the US. Read below.

  Sorry Reg,

This Mary Chamberlain, 6th generation Tennessean with Cherokee, English, Scots ancestry writes no books.

She spends her days phoning and emailing occupants of the Snake Pit a.k.a. Washington, D.C.

This is the most important thing all "legal" Americans can do to kill S.1348 and if that doesn't work the
875,000 people currently signed up on ImpeachBush.org can take it from there.

Mary Chamberlain.
I thank you for your reply. It's great to see freedom of speech at work.I understand and support your argument, but being an outsider I can only look on!
I know with your Cherokee,English & Scots ancestry you will be a formidable foe.
