The Common Room / coroners report/transcript
« on: Friday 09 August 13 23:20 BST (UK)  »
I'm looking into the death of my great uncle Daniel Murphy he was found dead in the road in October 1952 with head injuries. There was an inquest as I've a copy from the paper at that time.
I'd like a copy of the inquest and a copy of the transcript as a few things in the newspaper article don't add up.
How do I get these and is there anything I could get from the police?
This happened in Tunbridge Wells Kent.

Hi all,
I've found in my ref library today a local paper article from Oct 1952 about my great uncle Daniel Murphy.
He was found at the side of the road dead and had head injuries, this happenen in the early hours of the morning after he'd been to a dance. He lived and died in Tunbridge Wells, Kent
Now it doesn't say if he was drunk or not, or fallen, or had been beaten up or had been hit by a car.
He was found by a taxi driver.

Would I find any info about a poss inquest, coroners report or was there even a court case?
I,m really stuck where to go now.
Thanks for any help in advance
