it isn't him, as I found a death for John naming Robert as his father,  and my John was still alive when that John died.

Wiltshire Lookup Requests / John Harris baptism
« on: Thursday 18 June 20 22:51 BST (UK)  »
Good Evening,

I'm looking for a baptism for John Harris, born 1806 to 1812 in Wiltshire, on all the censuses I have found him on, he says Wiltshire as place of birth, but on two separate census he says  Cricklade and Leigh, I know they are close together, but cannot find a baptism, also on the censuses his birth ranges from 1809 to 1811, his father was Robert Harris, no idea who his mother was.
Thankyou for any assistance

Family History Beginners Board / Strange middle name for a girl
« on: Friday 22 May 20 22:04 BST (UK)  »
I have just found another child born to my 3 x great grandparents,in Liverpool, John James and Johanna Poulson,  7 years after their last child, the name is puzzling me, her name was Minnie Roberts Poulson,  why would her name be Roberts?

John and Johanna had been married since 1847, and had 4 other children,  Johannas parents were George Poulson and Mary Ann Hughes, and John's parents I'm not sure of though Benjamin is on their marriage cert, so can't be after their parents?

Any help appreciated please
