London & Middlesex Lookup Requests / Roman Catholic Baptism Lambeth
« on: Sunday 10 May 20 12:28 BST (UK)  »

My 3 x great grandad Daniel Murphy married Bridget Quill in 1860.
His son John was baptized in 1861/2 which I have found in the Roman Catholic baptisms, John was born in Hoxton. Johns siblings were Margaret and Mary Ann, born between 1863 and 1869 in Lambeth.
Bridget and Daniel were married in St Mary's Moorfields as a Catholic marriage,
I would like help in finding Mary Anns and Margarets baptisms and marriages please,  I'm guessing they would also be Roman Catholics?
Thankyou in advance

London and Middlesex / John Murphy and Mary Ann Hendry
« on: Monday 27 April 20 21:30 BST (UK)  »
Good Evening,
I am researching John Murphy born in Cork 1795, he has Daniel with I'm guessing his first wife in Peckham, Surrey in 1835ish, I'm not sure of her name, but then I have found possibly a second marriage to Mary Ann Hendry, in St Leonards, Shoreditch in 1836, John is down as a widower, she is supposedly born in St Luke's in 1818.

They go on to have more children, though I can't find baptisms for them, and can't find them in the 1841, 1861 or further censuses. John Murphy is  a silk dyer.

Any help appreciated, thankyou

Pembrokeshire / John James b 1821 Master Mariner d 1868 drowning question
« on: Sunday 22 September 19 16:24 BST (UK)  »
John James born 29th July 1821 in Milford, to Benjamin, I'm unsure of mother, John was a master mariner who died in 1868, his cert number was 6767.

I have found on the welsh mariners site that he died in 1868, and his widow, ties in to what I have, but I can't find where he drowned, or where to find a death cert.
