Thanks I have that info on Elizabeth, and yes have Thomas's parents were Grace and Thomas. E&T had thirteen children of which three died about 1844 as did Elizabeth. Yes I suspect a John as her father..there is a John with a daughter for the right age at Penzance why would no mother be named?
I had found both those possibilities you suggested, but had dismissed Charles & Mary as being to far away at Pillaton. I am not sure that Elizabeth comes from Lelant.....
Also when I find potential parents i am not sure how to take that forward? I am guessing her parents demised as neither were witnesses at her marriage.

Elizabeth Edwards to Thomas Harry on 10th June 1820 in Lelant
witnesses were Thomas Harry and Phillip Hosking, the OPC site indicates that there were banns. I am desperate to find out Elizabeths parents.

Hello
I would like to find out more about my Shetlander ancestor....as to when he emigrated to Australia, I have found records for Alexander Kerr Garriock/Garrick as being on various ships but not actually as a seaman but my suspicion is he was. Can someone steer in the right direction to find out more about my ancestor, I know who he married and who his off-springwere when he arrived in Australia. he was born 11th September 1826 at Sandsting, his mother was Margaret Jamieson and father Scott Garriock. I have not found him on 1841 census but did find his mother and brother.
Any suggestions much appreciated.

Travelling People / Where did Rosina come from?

This is my first posting, I am looking for Rosina Lee she married Henry Beldam/Beldom in 1919 at Easthampstead, Berkshire and died in Bracknell in 1938 when they were no longer travelling and they owned a property in Skimped Hill Bracknell dealing in scrap metal and horses . In the 1911 census they are in a van at Blackmore Lane Maidenhead with 3 children....In 1901 census Henry is living with his mother Matilda Beldon ( Telitha Gotilla Matilda Fenner) in the Marlow area with 3 of his siblings and is described as a hawker.
Rosina I believe was born in Reading abt 1882...but can find nothing else about her. Lee being a well known travellers surname I am hoping some one can throw some light on Rosina.
