Do not try and use the internet (Facebook etc)  to try and make contact - she has no idea of the circumstances of the other individual, whether they know about the adoption or if they stayed with the parents.

She should contact an authorised adoption intermediary service and work through them She can also contact the adoption services team at her local council for advice ( and they will have a list of intermediaries).

A friend is asking for advice.She has recently found she was put up adoption at Birth some years ago.Through the advances of DNA research she has found she has a sibling with the same biological parents.Obviously I can't give any names on an open forum but she is after advice in her search for her brother please.
