Denbighshire / Re:Williams and Griffiths

As I have now received further info about the Griffiths',I can now be almost certain that Edmund's Parents were John and Sarah Griffiths, who lived at Mount Brymbo according to the 1881 Census.Sarah's maiden name was Butler.I also strongly believe that John Griffiths was a brother to my Great-grandfather Samuel Griffiths. They also had a sister Ann,the three of them were the children of a Richard Griffiths, also from the Overton area.Having said that though about this Richard Griffiths,it is all I know, for surely he must be the most elusive character since Genealogy was invented.I hope that this has helped you in some small way.

Thanks once again for your reply,I have visited the A.N.Palmer Museum at Wrexham in the past.I attended there quite a bit when my Mother  was in Hospital recently.
The problem being that as she is back home now,and as I am her full time carer,Its just not convenient for me to get to Wrexham.Hence my trying to gain info via the net.

I also have these areas for some of my ancestors, the areas you mention are between Glyn Ceiriog and Llangollen.the spelling for Glyn Trian was correct.
I also have a Parry in my Family Tree,as a result of the Marriage of John Gabriel to Ann Parry in Llangollen in 1821.
