It was Paul who was asking, William, so I gave him the info as I'd given you the  Penfold address on the other thread and you'd not given him any details apart from the address.

Any information on where the Griffiths family lived in Erbistock would be appreciated plus anything on Samuel and further generations back.

PS - if you have more info for Paul, he'd probably be very grateful  :)

Sorry I've been busy today I missed Paul's further reply.I'll PM with a lot more info tomorrow.

Just wondering if you have this:

Parents -  Richard  and Catherine

Also~Erbistock marriages

and a son/brother, Benjamin bpt  5 Oct 1752, Erbistock

Yes Samuel was the son of Richard and Catherine.I also have other siblings of Samuel;John(1749) and William(1756).

I don't have  the BC,reading the record from the Birth Index. For those familiar with the area Hugh and Edward T's families were residents of the Fron/Trevor area.Of course ideally I'd like to find a possible marriage with a Church Record! Also the  1939 Register doesn't throw up any clues.

Edward T Jones was born in the Corwen District in 1920.His Mother's maiden name is given as Jones. The info I  have about is parents is pretty sketchy, other than their  Christian  names were Hugh and Sarah.I'm getting nowhere in the  search for a possible Hugh Jones/Sarah Jones Marriage. The possible thrown up by the Marriage Index in 1912 has proved not to be a Match as my  money sent for the purchase of the Marriage Certificate has been returned.I'm getting nowhere fast, help please?

It would have been an idea to state which Country but I'm guessing it's the UK?

You don't state at what level the DNA connection is, whether with her brother or further back?

Do you know if your friend already has her Adoption Papers?

If the connection is directly with her brother, he may know about her & may be the reason he done the test?

I think age would be a factor & whether the parents are still alive in whether to make contact or wait for her brother to contact her?

This is worth looking at...
