Fife / Re: Beugo Family History

Hello, give this a try

There were a few hits for the Beugo name.
Select "Scotland"  It obviously was not a common name.  Just go through all the windows here, the last window gives all the Beugo's in the IGI especially around Dumfermaline.
Happy Hunting

Hi Lisa, have you ever used this tool:

This could help you with that impressive list of names from different countries and you could try the mega search engine on your "James Stark" and "Norwich School of Painters" maybe some more information might appear.
Good luck

Hi Canuck Girl,

You could try Drew Heggies Pages for Free Census of Fife 1851

Even just searching this site for Deas may help.
Good luck

Hi bja you could look here:

Open "Scotland"
then "Fife"
then "Kilconquhar"

Then you can search for Berwicks born or married in Kilconquhar

Some of my ancestors came from there.
Good Luck

I have the same problem as you.  You could try posting on a board specific to the area that Joseph Marshall died in or a local newspaper, citing family tree research.  I think it is best if you get information from modern day decendants voluntarily or else you would end up with a lot of blanks due to privacy limitations at Scotlandspeople.

Hi Al, do you know Margaret's surname? Or a more town connected with James Stark? To make a lookup easier?

Have you seen the 1881 Census record on "Familysearch.Org" for James Stark b 1823/Salior and Margaret in Tynemouth.  It lists 3 children, James/14/b North Sheilds/Errand Boy, Andrew/12/Scholar/b North Sheilds and Margaret.A.Stark/7/Scholar/b North Sheilds
