Thank you Cathy and Stan,

I'm now going to see if I can find the family 1939 registers, your help has been wonderful.

Hi Stan,

Thank you, do you think that would indicate Wayside was a farm?

Hi listers,

Hopefully some of you can help with my request. I have a birth that took place 1931. It gives an address of Wayside Hopwood Birmingham" I have no idea if Wayside would be a house name etc. or where Hopwood Birmingham is/was.

Thank you in advance for any help given.
Regards

Thank you for the link you have sent, I will have a read of it. I'm lucky enough to live just a bus ride away for our wonderful buildings etc. Amazing to walk around an view them all.

Best wishes.

Here is a link to map with Russell Street, look for Station, this is Lime St Station then to the back of it. It's not fat from WorkHouse on Bronwlow Hill.

I had FTM 6 on XP computer, when my XP was replaced with windows 10, I had FTM 15 bought for me. I didn't like the set-up to FTM 15, maybe as I had use to FTM 6. I know you're interested in FTM 5, I didn't expect FTM 6 to run on windows 10, I gave it a try (disc version) to my surprise it worked. I have been using it many years now with no problems.

Good luck.
