I am looking for descendent's of Coleman./ William Henry Hayman from the Devon area. They had 3 children

female  Coleman Born 1898 married a William Coleman
Grace was daughter  of William Coleman born Wandsworth .
Grace had 3 sisters .

Believe that the Coleman family had linkages into Devon or lived in area around 1946/47.

All the places referred below are in Wales UK

In particular, a son of Llewellyn Williams & Florence May Williams late Way formerly Wethered(on Birth Certificate) Born Bedwelty September 1930.

I believe this son was adopted to a family whio migrated to the USA.


Having said that, the below couild have had more children who are also in the USA -

Albert Way . Believe to be first husband of Florence May Weatherhead  ( Witherhead, Wethered) Married Newport 1916.

My connection here is that daughter Williams is my mother - she was adopted to a family in Cornwall.

I am endeavouring to trace the children of above

I have Alice, Winnifred Georgina, Lillin William &  Ernest

All born between 1894 & 1911

Alice is my G mother. Ernest migrated to Australia & settled in  Queensland.
William wif was A.L.M. Coleman (Gunner).

William was alive in 1933 was at Georgina Wedding.

Found Alice in 1911 Census. Also William and  rest of family in 1911 census

Just keeop hitting my head against brick wall

All seem to be around Lambeth

I am researching Richard Wethered who married a Sarah Crawford. Believed he lived  15 Brown St Belfast

Can someone do a look up on 1881 (don't think he is alive)  & 1871 or earlier census. Interested to find him and who he was living  with .Cannot find when he died. He had a son Thomas Crawford Wethered born ireland 1834

I have just discovered this resource and in hope am posting this message.

My mother was born   1929 & on Birth Certificate shows 49 Coedymoech Road
Aberbargoed.Bedwelty

Father LLEWELLYN WILLIAMS Mother maiden name Florence May WETHERED[/b]
Betty father died (date unknown) & she was adapted to a Family in Cornwall.

I am trying to find any clues to start to search for family of Llewellyn Williams or what happened to Florence WETHERED (WILLIAMS?). Florence was 35 years of age when Betty was born.

I think Llewellyn may have been killed in mine accident?

Is there such a thing as an Electoral Roll for that period? Is Florence list as Williams?

Florence came from Bootle Liverpool. Her family who I have made contact with do not know what happened to Florence

I believe that Florence had other children.


Any Clues........just anything ....leads
