Rutland / Re: Rudkin from Rutland

All interesting stuff. It just reminded me that I have a rudkin in Rutland, but not a direct line. Ellen rudkin born empingham would be my 3gt grandmas sisters mother in law. Ellen was born about 1834

Hi Wendy

The nearest one I can see is a Lizzie Marshall died 1916 in the oundle reg district. That district does include bulwick and great Weldon, which aren't that far from Corby

Leicestershire / Re: Looking for the burial of Benjamin MEE 1864 Soar on Barrow

Barrow on soar is the registration district so he could have been buried in one of a number of villages in that area. Do you know where he was in 1861 census?

Carrying on from what pharma said, I have a few queries where, for example, the person was born in Northamptonshire but the registration district is actually Rutland. Also seems to be a few Derbyshire but the registration district is Nottinghamshire.

Hi

I had a look at this for someone on the chat room the other day. The records I found for a marriage and a sons baptism record the surname as strawbridg not strawbridge. Although it was only a quick search, I didn't find any records spelt strawbridg apart from those two.

Hi Tony

I've just been searching a marriage for a jonathan harrold in billesdon in 1867. He married a Sarah Jane jelley (nee Curtis). Have no info on him as it's Sarah Jane I'm related to.

Hi all.

I'll have a look a bit further on my tree to see if I have any connections as I have Abbott members but they were down the road near thrapston in the 1870s/80s

Hi.

Having opened the search out to Norfolk between 1791 and 1800, there are 8 Mary lines baptisms on family search. The nearest to the area you are looking at is at weybourne on 23rd May 1798 with parents as Thomas lines and Elizabeth Pells.
