Many thanks - I have looked at their website, but found none of my folks in their online resources, which obviously donít cover everything.
I couldnít find any contact information, or I would have sent them an email to see if they could suggest any other options.

Family History Beginners Board / Bristol Burials?
« on: Thursday 06 September 18 17:04 BST (UK)  »
Hi,
Any ideas how I can find burials for family who lived in Bristol? I have Elizabeth Cuddeford d.1860, Thomas Edward Seed d.1874, Thomas Seed d. 1895.  Also Amelia Seed d. Hereford 1883.

Many thanks for any ideas!

Thinking about checking family burials. Deaths of interest are Amelia Seed d. 1883 Leominster, Hereford; Edward Cuddeford d. 1835 Eling or Totton Southampton; Elizabeth Cuddeford d. 1860.  Thomas Edward Seed d. 1874 Thomas Seed d. 1895 all three in Bristol - Clifton? St James?
Any idea how I can find burials for these places?

Thanks all for your efforts!

I have looked at Edithís progress and not found Thomas Frederick with her.
Thomas Edward made his father guardian of his son at his death in 1874, and the divorce case seems to have been quite acrimonious. It looks like the girls went with mum.

The 1911 Census that has TF boarding with Francis and Elizabeth NEATE in East Tilbury is interesting, but I canít find this record on ancestry.

There are possible sightings abroad, but I donít see how one can check they are the right person.
The South African 1882 marriage seems right for age.
Are there South African census records, where I could check birthplace?

Frederick Stewart Seed is still a mystery. He advertises for photography work in the Bristol Mercury of 1891. I wonder if he leaves when his father dies in 1895.

Thanks again.

Many thanks for taking the time to look.
I have also had someone look on Ancestry world (which I donít have) and they havenít found them either.  Just keep looking I guess.
If they were in the UK, their deaths would have to have been registered, wouldnít they?

All the best,
C

Hi, I am researching the Seed family of Preston.  Currently looking at the family of Thomas Seed b.1807 Preston, who was a portrait artist.  He lived in Jersey from late 30's to early 50's then in and near Bristol where he and his sons ran a portrait and photography business.  He died 1895. I am looking for two people: 1. his younger son Frederick Stewart Seed b. 1847 Jersey is in Bristol in 1891 census but I don't find any trace of him after that.  2. Thomas' grandson, Thomas Federick Seed b. 1861 London, son of his younger son, Thomas Edward, (who died in 1874).  Thomas Frederick appears on 1871 census, and his father's 1874 Will appoints grandfather Thomas as his guardian, but I don't find him after that.  I find no marriage or death records for either of these people.  I wonder if they went abroad?
Any ideas?

Now - does anyone have an idea where else to look for Jane Taylor's christening/birth?

I assume Kendal 1822, but find nothing on ancestry/familysearch.
i don't find Westmoreland records easy to access.
