Hi
Trying to help someone find the marriage for an
Emma Skinns, born 1867 ish, Metheringham, Lincs.
The person I am helping believes she married a Charles Carpenter, and had a daughter Alice Maude Carpenter born 1895 ish, who married a Thomas Richard Williams on the 15 September 1918 in the parish of St Andrews, Earlsfield, Wandsworth, Middlesex.
I have spent most of the day looking for the marriage of Emma to a Charles Carpenter, and have drawn a complete blank ???
Any help would be great ;)

Hi

I am trying to help someone on another site with a marriage. He wants to order a marriage cert from the GRO. As I have never done this before, the said person is being asked for the exact date, I always thought that if you gave the name of the Two Party's and the Quarter and Year the marriage took place, plus the Vol Mumber and Page Number that is all you need. Am I right or wrong. I do have the details of the marriage with the vol and page numbers etc, so that aint a problem ???
