A Google search netted me "Down under with the Prince". Scrolling down the page to:

It mentions the shot-torn colours carried by the third British Foot Guards at the battle of Alexandria as long ago as 1801 and that these colours had been handed down through the generations by NZ descendants of Colonel Samuel Dalrymple who was in command of the regiment at that time. The account went on to say that the colours, which apparently were the only ones belonging a Guards regiment, preserved elsewhere other than the British Islands. They were presented to HRH the Prince of Wales, by Mrs J H Hankins, nee Dalrymple, who is, in fact, Agnes Sophia Wemyss Dalrymple. This took place in Palmerston North, NZ.
