Does anyone know anything about the Warwick Asylum?

My great grandad, George Harry Dunn, a former Engineer Fitter, lived there for the last few years of his life, suffering from Alzheimer's disease.

As of right now I'm not allowed access to any of the records. Wondering if anyone would have any information for me.

I've finally received John Henry's birth certificate. His mother was Sarah Dunn. No father is listed. So I think it's safe to assume that the 1871 census of the Coles family is the right John Henry. Thanks everyone.

My great great grandad and his family also worked at Houndshill House. They were there in 1901 and 1911. My great great grandad was a coachman and my great grandad was a gardener. Pretty neat.

Thanks for replying so quickly. I do remember the 1891 census showing a bit of a different job than the 1901 and 1911 census. Another question is do you have any idea why he doesn't appear in the 1871 and 1881 census? Could he and his parents (if he had any,  I've hit a brick wall with this man) have lived in another country at these times?
