I have a 4th cousin once removed who is a 20 cM match to me but not a shared match with my first cousin on the same paternal line

In 1891 he appears to be still in Deptford but I can only find him on the FindMyPast index, and the 1895 probate entry shows he died in Deptford. 27 Octavius Street, Deptford retired builder.  I can't find the 1891 entry on FamilySearch or Ancestry and can't view at FindMyPast. But places of birth can vary on different census. His first wife was born in Maidstone.

My comment on the possible parentage was because I am uncertain on his mother's name.

James Smith was a builder who resided in Deptford all his adult life from his marriage to Elizabeth Entecott in 1824 at Woolwich to his death in 1895 but James was born in Chatham according to the various census. He remarried in 1870.

He was presumably the son of James and Jane, baptised St Mary Chatham 29 September 1805.  It appears his parents had other children baptised at the same church in the period from 1803.  Can anyone shed light on this family when they were in Chatham or when they moved to Deptford?

John Coombs was a licensed victualler of Bath who died in 1811. His will mentions a son Benjamin, under age, a wife Hannah, and a daughter Elizabeth.

John was bap 16 Oct 1775 • Saint James,Bath  son of William Coombs and Esther Prosser who married St James Bath 17 Jul 1775. John's sister Sarah, who witnessed his second wedding, was baptised at Bath Abbey 12 April 1775.

What I have yet to locate are John's marriage to Elizabeth (family trees on Ancestry have him marrying at 16 and not always to a Mary!) or the baptism of his son Benjamin

Most of my 6 or 7 cM common ancestor matches are 6th cousins or 5th cousins once removed. However, one 4th cousin is only a 6 cM match

I have a second cousin once removed who is 145 cM and a mysterious 150 cM connection with no obvious link- his tree is too sparse and his mother's birth entry appears to be missing from the GRO index
