I think I have found Henry, his mother and father and grandparents on both sides. Thank you so much. Just wondering is there anyway to search census information after 1911? I'm hoping if I can find an entry after James and Ellen married it may list Henry and his sisters. If I can get his sisters names I might be able to make contact with them or their children. :) this is so exciting!

A genealogy site that I unknowingly posted on on Facebook, they said they could send us a report about Henry and his parents and his two sister for about $80 AUD. Hoping to see what I  can find for free first :)

Updated information:
So we have received his death certificate today and have some more info to add. If anyone has any information relating to his parents or sisters that would be great-

Father- James Rule occupation: labourer
Mother- Ellen McIntosh : dressmaker

He married Lilian Hutchinson in 1950 in Morwell, Victoria Australia.

I have also been informed by one of the paid for services that they have access to information about his two sister. I do not know their names but it would be great if we could find out as they may still be living.

Thank you for everyone's help. :)

RULE is a very common Cornish name so it will be interesting to see how far back the Scottish connection goes.

Yes it will be.  We have heard it goes back to the Turnbull clan.  It'll be interesting to see if we can connect all the dots. Sent for death certificate and have heard from Scots Family to say they have information about Henry's birth certificate,  his two sisters birth certificates (we didn't even know he had siblings) and the date and place of his parents marriage so it's getting interesting.

There is a Rule family, living in the Polmont area of Falkirk,I'm sure that Ian Rule has/had a plumbing buisiness in Falkirk, I lived in the polmont area up to 1998.
That's great , once we have the death certificate hopefully it will be easier to make connections in Scotland. Thanks :)

Quite a few families with the surname Rule in Falkirk in the 1901 census.. once you have the parent's names you can post and we will be able to help with the census forms  :)
Thank you so much. I really appreciate the help, I've been going in circles. I'm sure I don't need to tell you I'm a beginner! Haha
