Apart from lambs often being called Bunty my mother who was christened Betty (not Elizabeth) was also called Bunty by her mother.

Thank you Bill, Carolyn, Tommy, Yvonne and Caroline for the great retores, frames and coloured versions. The white line round the oval seems to pick out the photo especially well Carolyn. All very much appreciated.

Thank you for this link Carol. He was quite a guy. Makes this little engraving even more precious.

I have a martyr in my family tree too - he was hanged for his beliefs in 1684 in the Grassmarket in  Edinburgh - he was a Covenanter. Several interesting stories of him and his family - also Covenanters.
